Like its founder, all our teachers have a strong teaching experience , but they also have another field of expertise. Teaching French is a passion they chose.
Marguerite Monnier, Founder of French As You Like It ®, master in international marketing:
Native Parisian, Marguerite Monnier graduatedfrom Essec Business School with a major in International Marketing.Between 1999 and 2005, she lived and worked in San Francisco as a Product Manager for Savoir Faire, Importers of fine art materials from Europe and Asia.
French As You Like It ® was created in 2006 to help English speakers improve their French language skills and their understanding of French culture.
In 2009, she creates in partnership with the International School of Paris, French As Kids Like It ® , playful instruction program dedicated to children.

Graduated from Sorbonne university with majors in French as Foreign Language and political sciences, Ingrid Thobois has taught French in France abroad in various settings and to various audiences: international corporations, schools, and universities to adults, teenagers and children.
Successful writer, she also wrote two novels: "Le roi Afghan ne nous a pas mariés" et "l'Ange Anatomique" as well as a children book, "Nassim et Nassima"
Florence, teacher, editorialist and specialist in communication

Florence has a degree in French a foreign language. While working in the communication business for a Franco-german TV and in an international organisation, she taught French as a foreign language in France well as the United Kingdom (London).
The diversity of cultural exchanges, her enthusiasm for passing on her native language and her strong will to helpher students develop their language skills drive her to give her best while teaching.
Catherine, specialized in expatriation

Graduated from Paris X, and from Glasgow University with a Masters degree in teaching French as a Foreign Language, Catherine is a teacher who shows commitment and enthusiasm in her teaching of French to non-native students.
She spent around 10 years as an expatriate and enjoyed living abroad: Shetland Islands, Scotland, French Pacific Islands, Australia,Gabon, Italy...
With experience in teaching both children and adults, she first taught in Primary and Secondary schools in the UK and now specialises in individual tuition. She also teaches in a Parisian business school.

With a bachelor degree in German language, Veronik lived two years in Germany. She discovered there her passion to teach French. Upon her return in Paris, she completed her master of teaching French as a foreign language, as well as the process of language training.
She today teaches children, teenagers and adults, in a one-on-one or group format.
As she studied acting as well, Veronik gives drama classes. She doesn’t hesitate to integrate this other aspect of her background in her teaching.
Véronique , French civilisation expert

With a master degree in French as a foreign language at the Sorbonne, Véronique spent 10 years abroad as not only teaching French but also German in the UK to children and teenagers; she then specialized in the United States in teaching French in US universities.
Back in Paris, she currently teaches French civilisation in top business schools (HEC) as well as the Alliance Française and English speaking professionals.
Passionate about French culture and civilisation, Véronique also worked as a tourist guide in Paris and France in general
