Our Methodology
Our methodology is based on over 15 years of experience.
With us, the learner is at the center of his or her own learning and we give him or her all the keys to reach his or her project, whether it is personal or professional.
Our Methodology
Our teachers
Our teachers are all experienced and qualified. They create their own course content, adapted to each of their students, while following our syllabus based on the CEFR language levels. They know how to create a joyful and friendly atmosphere in their classrooms and will also be ready to give you advice, recommendations for your French learning as well as cultural – and gastronomic – outings!
Our courses
You will receive a written and oral evaluation beforehand to place you in the group that best suits you. For private lessons, these assessments will also serve to discuss your specific needs and goals.
Our group classes are small and have a maximum of 6 students so that each student can have a significant amount of time to speak. We emphasize speaking and communication to facilitate exchanges outside the classroom. Indeed, our courses are divided into two parts and include a grammar part and an oral part to practice your new knowledge. The materials used are varied (videos, articles, recent French methods, games, etc.) and include authentic documents adapted to your level that will allow you to better understand and adapt to real-life situations.
All our courses are 90 minutes long, which is enough time to study a subject in depth while keeping you focused and retaining the course content and information more easily.
To measure your progress, we offer a weekly evaluation, which is not graded, so you can review the grammar/vocabulary points you have studied during the week. Following these evaluations, your teacher will send you by email a non-exhaustive list of links, videos, etc. that you can consult independently. In addition, you will have the opportunity to hand in assignments that will be corrected by your teacher. This option is based on voluntary work, as we understand that you may have a busy schedule in Paris!
And more
Weekly field trips are offered free of charge to connect with other learners and practice outside the classroom. Students in private lessons can also meet their teacher outside to visit a museum, a café, a park, a neighborhood, etc.
For those who wish, there is the possibility to prepare for exams (DELF, DALF, TCF, TEF, CLOE), if you have a university or professional project, for example.
