French As You Like It — Paris

buying flowers... is very easy - Picture of Paris, Ile-de-FranceAfter what has felt like the rainiest Spring ever, the sun is finally out and the weather people are promising it will stay this way for a couple more days. Here’s some ideas to help you plan your weekend in Paris (and work on your French).

The Rose Garden at the Parc de Bagatelle: After all this rain and the last few days of sun, the flowers around Paris are magnificent! Why not brush-up on your gardening vocabulary while visiting the 106th annual International Rose Competition?

Free Paris Jazz Festival in Parc Floral starts this weekend!

In case there are any brief showers this weekend, the Maison du Film Court has a short film festival that begins today.

The SOS Helpline is an English-language emotional support line for the international community in France. This won’t help your French, but we can’t help recommending picking-up some English books this weekend to support this important resource.

Over a dozen free walks IN FRENCH organized around Paris this weekend! Another great way to discover a different side of Paris, while improving your French.
